This new Indian stock broking platform, Punch, has closed $7 million in seed funding led by Stellaris Venture Partners, with co-investors Susquehanna Asia VC, Prime Venture Partners, and Innoven Capital. Quantum computing startup Riverlane has raised $75 million in its latest funding round, led by Planet First Partners, ETF Partners, and EDBI. The funding will support Riverlane’s work on semiconductors to reduce errors in quantum computing. Denver-based electric motor startup H3X Technologies reeled in $20 million in an oversubscribed Series A round led by Infinite Capital, joined by Hanwha Asset Management, Cubit Capital, Origin Ventures, and a number of others, including Lockheed Martin Ventures. H3X works on high-power-density electric motors for a wide variety of uses while touting its low weight, which is a mere third of that of major competitors. Co-founder and CEO Jason Sylvestre positions H3X as the leader in sustainable aviation, marine, and defense technologies.
